Palm Beach Gardens located in South Florida was developed by John D. MacArthur in around 1959. MacArthur developed plans for approximately 4,000 acres to house around 55,000 people in hopes this new city would be a place to raise a family and earn a living. In 1964 MacArthur donated over $2 Million to develop a clubhouse and golf courses to house the Professional Golfers Association tournaments.
Today Palm Beach Gardens is known for beautiful Country Club living in communities such as Frenchmens Reserve, Evergrene, PGA National, Mirasol, BallenIsles, and Old Palm Golf Club as well as luxuries waterfront homes and residential communities.
